Create Economic & Environmental Profits
Industrial farming practices risk expensive production losses, biodiversity decline, soil degradation, and water health, while also being major contributors to carbon emissions.

Regenerative Farming rebuilds soil organic matter, sequesters carbon, enhances biodiversity and helps your operation bounce back faster after drought. Not only will Regenerative Farming improve your farm's productivity, you can attract funding to support the adoption of these practices - through carbon credits, biodiversity certificates, grant programs, and market incentives.

An example of a Regenerative Farming strategy
Protecting & Restoring Box Gum Grassy Woodlands
The BGGW is home to a cacophony of Australia's flora and fauna - including crowd favourites like koalas and quolls. But it is a critically endangered ecosystem - with only 4% of its original extent left. Governments have tried to address its degradation for decades with little success. Farmers across Eastern Australia have the opportunity to change this. Our members are creating strategies to restore these open woodlands as productive landscapes.
Case study
A Stellar Effort
Farmers in the Southern Tablelands (in the STAR project) are undertaking Environmental Planting Carbon projects to restore the BGGW ecosystem. Using a special planting design, they can sequester carbon and earn carbon credits. They can also build biodiversity and be rewarded with certificates or even stewardship payments. All while still use the land productively for grazing.
